Effective June 1, 2012, we will be rolling out our new Injectable Drug Utilization Management Program for certain injectable drugs. These drugs will require prior approval from ICORE Healthcare, LLC. This program does not change our members benefits, your claims submission procedures or participation in the Specialty Pharmacy Program already in place with ICORE.
ICORE will be offering Webinars closer to the implementation date of June 1, 2012. These Webinars will introduce practitioners to the ICORE Web site and will give guidance on how to request prior approvals for the injectable drugs on the list. The current proposed dates for these Webinars are:

Participants will need to RSVP at least one week prior to the Webinar they plan to attend. Participants must supply a full name, full practice name, telephone number and the session they want to attend. ICORE will then e-mail them a confirmation with a call-in number and Web link with instructions.
We mailed an announcement to affected providers at the end of February. The announcement supplied details regarding the new program.
