EmblemHealth Pharmacy Benefit Services Updates Effective January 1, 2012

Home Delivery Services

If you have prescription drug coverage and your prescription drugs are delivered to your home, beginning January 1, 2012, you will be ordering and receiving your home-delivery prescription drugs through Express Scripts, Inc. (ESI) instead of through Medco®.

Retail Participating Pharmacies

Please note that if you fill your prescriptions at a retail pharmacy, you will continue to have access to all major pharmacy chains, including Walgreens, Duane Reade, CVS, Rite Aid, Target and Walmart, as well as access to many independent pharmacies.

If you fill your prescriptions at a retail pharmacy or order them for delivery to your home, there is no change in your prescription drug coverage as a result of the switch from Medco to ESI.
