Seasonal and H1N1 Flu Information and Resources
GHI HMO and GHI PPO Will Withdraw From the Medicaid, FHPlus and CHPlus Programs in Selected Counties, Effective 01/01/2010
(For GHI HMO and GHI PPO Medicaid, FHPlus and CHPlus Plans)
As of January 1, 2010, GHI HMO and GHI PPO will no longer participate in the Medicaid, Family Health Plus or Child Health Plus programs in 21 upstate counties. Information is provided on member enrollment, Medicaid Managed Care plan coverage options available in those counties, and continuity of care procedures during this transitional period.
Outbreak of Mumps Found in Brooklyn: 10/22/2009
Since August 21, 2009, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH) has been investigating an outbreak of mumps that began among children from Borough Park who attended summer camp in Upstate New York.
