CHILDREN’S AND INFANTS’ TYLENOL PRODUCT RECALL
In consultation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), McNeil Consumer Healthcare is voluntarily recalling certain lots of Children's and Infants’ TYLENOL® liquid products that were made between April 2008 and June 2008. The recall is a result of one of the inactive ingredients not meeting the company’s testing requirements.
Please note that not all Children’s and Infants’ Tylenol liquid products are being recalled. Only certain lot numbers of some products are being recalled (21 in total). The lot number is on the bottom of the box containing the product and is also on the sticker that surrounds the product bottle. Below are the specific batches of Tylenol products that were recalled, identified by lot number.
For Parents and Caregivers:
If you have given one of the recalled products to a child or infant, McNeil recommends that you contact the child’s doctor and asks that you call McNeil’s Customer Care Center at 1-800-962-5357 so that they may send you a coupon for a replacement of the product.
