![]() ![]() Practitioner Alert: EmblemHealth Introduces Two New ProductsEmblemHealth, the parent company of GHI and HIP, is pleased to announce two products available through our national network of participating practitioners and facilities (National Network): EmblemHealth EPO and EmblemHealth PPO (both underwritten by Group Health Incorporated). If you are already in GHI's National Network, the fee schedules and other terms of your current ageement with GHI apply to EmblemHealth's EPO/PPO products. These newly branded products will be available to members with a start date of January 1, 2009 and GHI practitioners may begin to see members presenting member ID cards with the EmblemHealth name at that time. EmblemHealth PPO offers members care from virtually any doctor or specialist (in or out of network) without a referral. The EPO product offers members open access to all network providers without a referral. Both plans offer our National Network of physicians and other health care providers.
