How Can I Prevent Sleep Problems?
Many sleep problems cannot be prevented but may be linked to other preventable health conditions.
For instance, many of those with obstructive sleep apnea are overweight, and it's believed that weight loss may help alleviate their sleep problems.
Prevention of iron deficiency may reduce the prevalence of restless legs.
In general, good sleep hygiene is your best defense against many sleep problems. Also, exercise and a healthful diet will help you sleep better at night.
