Important information about new benefit changes
Don’t Let Cancer Be the Last Word
The City and its unions have partnered with Best Doctors, an expert medical review service, to provide eligible employees and dependents covered under the EmblemHealth GHI CBP Plan a free medical review of their cancer diagnosis from world-renowned oncologists. The carefully selected Best Doctors experts will also gain insight from the artificial intelligence tools from IBM Watson Health. These tools provide comprehensive details on treatment options and can be used to match you to available clinical trials based on your unique case details. When there is no room for error, take advantage of your Best Doctors expert medical review benefit. The Best Doctors medical review program is provided directly by or through the City of New York and its unions. It is not underwritten, administered, or offered by EmblemHealth.
